The Wedding or The Rime of the Ancient Mariner ’Storms and icebergs. Sea shanties and dead mariners. An albatross shot down. What are the consequences when a careless act disturbs the delicate balance between humanity and nature? Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s classic poem comes to life in a major new outdoor production beside the river Thames with original music by Southbank Centre Artists in Residence Bellowhead and a cast featuring 150 children from Lambeth and Southwark primary schools.’ Music composed and performed by Bellowhead. Performances at 12pm and 3pm on the Festival Riverside.
