Well, first night of the tour, and the only evidence of that was the complete lack of chit-chat - it was just wall-to-wall excellent music. Support from Belshazzar’s Feast was excellent - a perfect warm-up for a great bouncy night. The audience started off leaning on walls, around the edge of the room, but were soon joining in with the band’s mad antics.

I have to commend Reading Concert Hall as an excellent venue, and not just because it’s so close to home. It’s a good size, and was nicely full for the gig, with the possibility of seating (for those who can manage to stay seated!) in the balcony upstairs. Please come back, Bellowhead!

We heard all the old favourites, including plenty of dance tunes - finishing off with a punishing combination of Sloe Gin, London Town and Frog’s Legs...I might’ve recovered by Wednesday for London - I haven’t a clue how they manage it every night for two weeks, but enjoy the rest of the tour!
