This was not just my first Bellowhead gig, but my first ever gig…I know I’ve lead a sheltered life. Anyway what did I think? In short loved it. The ‘live’ experience really is unbeatable and the atmosphere was fun and friendly. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. You could sense everyone was there to have a good time. I’m rather shy but by the end I was jumping up and down and clapping and singing along just like everyone else. I managed to take some photos on my camera and video on my mobile while ‘dancing’ and trying not to drop the shopping I’d foolishly bought without thinking what I was going to do with it at the gig. I was able to get a fairly good view even though I’m quite short. It was really great that the band did so many encores as well. I left with a great big grin on my face that lasted for weeks. It should be prescribed on the NHS. Now I really want to go again, just got to find a gig I can get to.
