Time now to take a closer look at the nomineed for Best Duo at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2011.
Chris While & Julie Matthews
Chirs While and Julie Matthes met in the Albion band in 1993, and began their duo career in 1997.
Eliza Carthy & Norma Waterson
Mother and daughter, Norma Waterson and Eliza Carthy are English folk singers from Yorkshire.
Megson
Megson are husband and wife Stu and Debbie Hanna. Having met while singing in the Cleveland Youth Choir, they began to perform as a duo in 2004.
Nancy Kerr & James Fagan
Winners of the Horizon Award in 2000 and the Best Duo on 2003, husband and wife Nancy Ker & James Fagan have been playing and performing together since 1995.
