The Beverley & East Riding Folk Festival will be held for the 26th year on the 19th-21st June in the shadow of Beverley Minster. On the programme are some young folk acts including the Anna Massie Band, winners of the ’The Best Folk Band’ at the 2006 Scots Trad Music Awards.
Also featured are old favourite Billy Bragg, Seth Lakeman, the Peatbog Fairies and Lunasa. As well as the folk, this year’s festival has an ’Americana Mini-Fest’ with Blues, Gospel and a yodelling banjo player from New York!
