Urban Fox is launching a brand new folk club in the heart of Birmingham’s city centre. The club will take place once a month at The Yardbird, an established jazz venue, which is situated near the Town Hall, Birmingham Conservatoire and the world renowned Symphony Hall.
The first few months will feature prominent folk artists such as the finalists of the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards 2008 Jack McNeill and Charlie Heys, the highly acclaimed Urban Folk Quartet and pioneer of new folk music Jim Moray.
Urban Fox is run jointly by Josh Angell and Hannah Fathers.
