In the third our In the Footsteps series of interviews Martin Carthy & Jim Moray discuss folk singing.

Martin Carthy tells Jim Moray about how his approach to singing has changed over the years and the difference between learning from him and the people he learnt from. Also discussed are copywriting folk songs and importance of timing and momentum when telling the story of a big ballad.
